Daily Recipe : Rendang (Beef Rendang)

Ingredients :

  1. 1 kg of beef, cut into 16 pieces
  2.  ± 360 ml coconut milk
  3. 1 sheet turmeric leaf
  4. 100 gram chilli (mashed)
  5. 100 gram red onion (mashed)
  6. 5 sheet orange leaf
  7. 1 lemongrass (mashed)
  8. 4 garlic cloves, mashed
  9. 1 piece of ginger
  10. 1 piece of galangal (optional)
  11. 1 teaspoon of salt (*you can add more if you want to)

Equipment :

  1. Saucepan
  2. Spatula
  3. Stove

Method :

  1. Cook all spices and the coconut milk, after boiled / effervescent, add the meat
  2. Cook with medium heat until some oil come out then reduce the heat, stir slowly until drained, the color will be dark brown
